2009 Junior Footy Fun Holiday Program Details
The Golden Square Football Netball Club will be holding a Football based holiday program.
The program will run on Monday 6th, Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th of July 2009.
Time schedule from 8.30am to 5pm (Mon & Wed) and 6.45am to 5pm (Tue)
The program is applicable to ages ranging from 6 to 15.
Separate programs will run for 6 – 11 year olds and 12 – 15 year olds
We encourage both
boys and girls to be involved. All participants will receive a football
show-bag
that includes a football, drink bottle and other goodies.
Day one (Monday 6th July)
Day one will be based at the Country Vet oval (Wade St) and will focus on a variety of Football
based activities.
These include various Australian Rules Football skill based clinics, healthy
lifestyle
and nutrition components, football based children’s trivia quiz, Footy based
DVDs.
Morning and afternoon snacks as well as lunch will be provided for participants on this day.
Structured round-robin football matches, with an emphasis on fun, will feature throughout the day.
Day Two (Tuesday 7th July) Early Start
Day two will see
participants journey to Melbourne by bus to visit an Essendon Bombers training
session
and tour of the Windy Hill facilities at Napier St. Essendon.
Participants involved in this day
will be leaving from Country Vet oval at 6.45am sharp
and will be able to be picked up from Country Vet oval at 5pm.
Fresh fruit
will be provided for snacks on this day but participants should either
bring a
packed lunch or money ,as we will be stopping at McDonalds on the return
journey.
Day
Three (Wednesday 8th July)
Day three will be based back at the
Country Vet oval (Wade St) and will focus on a variety of Football based
activities.
These include various Australian Rules Football skill based clinics, healthy
lifestyle and nutrition components,
football based children’s trivia quiz, Footy- based DVDs.
Morning and afternoon snacks as well as lunch will be provided for participants on this day.
Structured round-robin football matches, with an emphasis on fun, will feature throughout the day.
The program will be
co-ordinated and ran by male and female accredited personnel (working with
children certified)
and we encourage both boys and girls to be involved in the program.
The program will run regardless of the weather conditions (with modified activities)
The program incorporating Monday 6th, Tuesday 7th & Wednesday 8th
is priced at $120 ($40 per day)
*This discounts to $100 each child if more than 1 family member registers.
